Take on the live action spooky trail through the Birmingham Botanical Gardens or should we say The Birmingham Scare Gardens, featuring street food, performers, music and entertainment, with earlier time slots available suitable for the whole family and all ages.

Dr Nerium

My name is Dr Nerium and I can’t wait to welcome you to my gardens! You see after years and years of absolutely wonderful experiments in my grounds I have created an exquisite collection of treasures, although some would…disagree!

It started back in 1842 when I brought back my first carnivorous flower from the base of the Peruvian Andes. Attempts at cross breading with other findings led to fantastical creatures one can only describe as unique.

As time has gone by some of these experiments have produced truly terrifying results, something which I have been unable to confine to the lab and they have spread throughout the gardens! Many people have entered but only few return, I wonder what has happened to them?

I invite you, if you dare, to meet yours truly and witness my gardens for yourself, beware of the watching eyes, gawp at the Wicker Man cultists and cover your ears for the lagoon queen can lure you to your peril with just her voice…and this time of year things start to get a little more… shall we say active !

Will you make it out and join the party? We look forward to welcoming you and finding out soon this Halloween !
